Ahmed ClearPath®250

The Ahmed ClearPath valve is available in two sizes: 350 mm² and 250 mm². Designed for ease of use, both sizes address key surgical challenges in anti-glaucoma device implantation — a procedure that reduces intraocular pressure in refractory glaucoma. A unique feature is the flexible plate that perfectly conforms to the shape of the eye. The suture fixation points are positioned further forward than on other anti-glaucoma devices without a valve mechanism, making suture points more visible and accessible for easier implant fixation. The 250 model is designed as a true single-quadrant implant secured between the muscles. The device optionally includes a pre-placed lumen suture and a 23-GA needle.
