Ahmed ClearPath®350

The Ahmed ClearPath valve is available in two sizes: 350 mm² and 250 mm². Designed for ease of use, both sizes address key surgical challenges in anti-glaucoma device implantation — a procedure that reduces intraocular pressure in refractory glaucoma. A unique feature is the flexible plate that perfectly conforms to the shape of the eye. The suture fixation points are positioned further forward than on other anti-glaucoma devices without a valve mechanism, making suture points more visible and accessible for easier implant fixation. The 350 model plate is positioned more posteriorly to avoid muscle attachment points, while the 250 model is a true single-quadrant implant secured between the muscles. The device optionally includes a pre-placed lumen suture and a 23-GA needle. Our company offers FREE technical inspection for all existing equipment of our represented brands.
