With the CASIA SS-1000 Fourier Domain OCT toy can take high-speed and high-resolution images for a variety of clinical situations. Due to the swept source technology, three dimensional data can be captured at a speed of 0.3 to 2.4 second with minimal motions artefact.

7 years ago, the SS-1000 CASIA was developed as a 3D anterior segment OCT, whose functions and images have been consistently lauded by medical practitioners, pioneering a whole new world of progress. CASIA2 employs Fourier Domain method at a wavelength of 1310nm, which leads to advanced imaging. The analysis function became more efficient and the CICS application is installed for cataract surgery. High usability enables easier testing. This is the Cornea / Anterior Segment OCT CASIA2 which advances cataract surgery.
With CASIA2, the light source of coherency functions is improved, and higher sensibility toward depth is realized compared to our former model. By using this new technology, it is possible to measure from anterior cornea to posterior lens with one shot. Scanning depth is approximately 13 mm. CASIA2 explores new possibilities in anterior segment analysis.
